Question: How do I fix a dent in my plastic bumper?
Solution: The best thing to do is to first remove bumper so you can get at it from behind, if you can get at it from behind you will not need to remove bumper. Second thing to do is to put a heat lamp or heat gun all over dented area, when the plastic gets hot you can push the dent out carefully. Look for high spots and push them down, also push up any low spots (I like to use the handle of a large screwdriver) then let bumper cool down. Sometimes the bumper will not need paint, sometimes it will. If it needs paint you sand down any high spots and fill any gouges rips or low spots using a plastic repair product. Then sand level all repairs and prep for paint.
